The owner and operator of A Dog's Life Pet Sitting

A Dog's Life Pet Sitting was established in 2013, but it wasn't the first pet sitting business that I started.

In 1989, I started and had success with another pet sitting business. I was one of the first such services at the time in Gainesville and serviced over 100 clients for 10 years.

Many things have changed since that first business, but one thing remains the same...pet owners want, and expect quality, experienced, honest, trustworthy pet care!

My passion has always been to provide just that....affordable, dependable, reliable pet care that gives you peace of mind. I enjoy getting to know your pets and their unique personalities. No pet care visit is the same and that is what makes it fun!

Meet the CFO and CEF!

Our Chief Feline Officer, Tweety and our Chief Executive Feline, Sylvester are just two of the many pets that have been part of our family over the years. Our place has been a home for goats, chickens, a pig, hampsters, guinea pigs, small parrots as well as dogs and cats.

I have hands on experience for many types of pets, as well as professional training through continuous courses with Pet Sitters International and Fear Free Pets.

Plus, many of my clients have shared their experience and expertise with me on caring for different animals such as turtles, sugar gliders, rabbits, and horses. I am always willing to learn, and that has been a real benefit to my business as well as my clients!
